WHAT IS ABA THERAPY & HOW TO GET CERTIFIED IN ABA?

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is an evidence based approach to help individuals to learn effectively. It is a globally popular therapy for children with autism to learn skills and lessen problematic behaviours such as hurting themselves or others. ABA is based on the idea that reinforcing certain behaviours will lead kids to repeat those behaviours. ABA analyses the factors behind the problem behaviours and provides strategies to fulfil the needs by appropriate behaviour. When ABA Works on reducing behaviours it also promotes positive association with the learning environment, provides alternative communications as well as  functional speech rather than engaging in problem behaviours. It helps the children to understand task oriented behaviours, and engage in the social environment.

HOW TO GET CERTIFIED IN ABA?
